About This Project

This website and its companion documentary, No Hero Hidden: The Holiday Inn Sniper, began as a master’s project by Mike McCoy, a Wichita native and graduate of Kansas State University’s creative writing master’s program. The project grew out of Mike’s interests in writing and editing video essays, short-form documentaries, and digital literature centered on historical nonfiction—all of which K-State’s Department of English encouraged and supported.
